CHARDIKALA - Punjabi

A simple nurse, devoted mother, and content wife sees her
quiet middle-class life collapse after a major incident
wrongly places her under suspicion. Subjected to harsh
interrogation and social stigma, she is abandoned by society
and forced to seek refuge in her in-laws’ home in Punjab
with her children. Amid silent suffering, she begins helping
others, turning compassion into purpose and becoming a
pillar of support. Her rising influence creates tension with
family and authorities, forcing her to leave again. This time,
backed by the people she helped, she rises, enters politics,
and wins a massive mandate, becoming a symbol of
resilience, justice, and strength.
