A multi-threaded story - warm, funny, moving and intelligent - about a group of high-school friends in their thirties, and the people close to them, as their friendly relations are put to the test. Julia, an accidental witness of a car accident, takes an injured child to a hospital; there, she makes an unexpected discovery: she is seriously ill herself, and her treatment should begin immediately. In spite of the news, she decides to go on an annual mountain trip with her friends, and to hide the illness from them.
