Dwie przyjaciólki, Majke (Agnieszka Suchora) i Agate (Edyta Olszówka), równie duzo laczy, co dzieli. Obie sa po piecdziesiatce, sporo juz przeszly i nie wierza, ze w ich zyciu cokolwiek sie zmieni. Jedna prowadzi cukiernie nad Baltykiem, druga - wzieta architektka - mieszka w Tatrach. Majka jest wdowa, Agate partner wlasnie zostawil dla znacznie mlodszej. Jedna poswieca sie dzieciom i wnukom, zapominajac o sobie, druga nie ma rodziny i dba o swój duchowy rozwój. Zadna nie jest w pelni szczesliwa.
Pewnego dnia Agata namawia Majke do spontanicznej zamiany miejsc, co spowoduje szereg komplikacji, zabawnych zwrotów akcji i przyniesie sporo wyzwan, którym bedzie trzeba stawic czola. Czy uda im sie przezwyciezyc przyzwyczajenia, uprzedzenia i leki? Czy zdobeda sie na odwage, zeby otworzyc sie na milosc i rozpoczac nowy rozdzial w zyciu? I czy uwierza, ze na zmiane nigdy nie jest za pózno?
Two friends, Majka (Agnieszka Suchora) and Agata (Edyta Olszówka), have as much in common as they do apart. Both are in their fifties, have been through a lot, and do not believe that anything will change in their lives. One of them runs a cake shop on the Baltic coast, the other - a renowned architect - lives in the Tatra Mountains. Majka is a widow, Agata's partner has just left her for a much younger woman. One devotes herself to her children and grandchildren, forgetting about herself, the other has no family and cares for her spiritual development. Neither of them is fully happy.
One day, Agata persuades Majka to spontaneously swap places, which will cause a series of complications, funny twists and bring a lot of challenges to face. Will they be able to overcome their habits, prejudices and fears? Will they have the courage to open up to love and start a new chapter in their lives? And will they believe that it is never too late to change?
